Opportunity: Writing for Publication for Nurses
Cynthia Saver is the editor of five editions of Writing for Publication for Nurses. She is starting work on the 6th edition and seeks a co-editor who will have the option to become the lead editor for subsequent editions. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-career nurse to advance their career and give back to the nursing community. Requirements include publishing experience and a passion for helping nurses share their expertise through publication. Editor Search: Policy, Politics, and Nursing Practice
Sage announces the search for a new Editor of Policy, Politics, & Nursing Practice. This peer-reviewed, quarterly publication aims to provide accessible, relevant exploration of public policy, the legislative and regulatory processes, and their impact on nursing practice, examine nurses’ roles in health policy and the political process; and explore the role of nursing in the health care system and in health policy development. We are currently accepting editor applications for a three-year term, with a target start date of January 1, 2027. A new resource, Peer Reviewer Needs, has been added to the site, showcasing nursing journals' peer-review requirements. Alongside this, the main menu was reorganized to enhance accessibility. Additionally, a summer series titled "The Summer of Peer Review" will launch on June 18th, offering 14 articles on peer reviewing, culminating during Peer Review Week.
