Lobster Dinner at DiMillo’s Floating Restaurant

On Tuesday evening, the clatter of forks and the snap of lobster crackers filled the air as we all gathered for a special dinner of lobster 🦞 (or steak! 🥩) at DiMillo’s Floating Restaurant down by the water. It was a hilarious and memorable evening, with the seasoned New Englanders patiently guiding the first-time lobster eaters through the delicate art of cracking shells and extracting the meat. Laughter erupted around each table as someone inevitably got “christened” with sea water or accidentally shot a piece of claw across the table. The experienced diners shared their best techniques for getting every last morsel. Some may have started the night as novices, but we ended it as a cohesive team of lobster-loving experts! It was a perfect blend of good food, great company, and plenty of lighthearted fun.

Enjoy some pictures from this memorable evening!

  1. Oh, this is such a nice post I wasn’t expecting to see! I’d have been there if I could manage being on a boat! Looks like everyone is having a good time.

    1. It was a GREAT evening but I do have to admit….I was feeling a bit squeamish when I first got on the boat! Luckily I quickly got my “sea legs” under me!
