The Editor Roster is a list of people and business who are available and interested in helping authors and learners with their writing projects, large and small. If you need an editor–this is the place to look. If you are an editor–please take advantage of our Editor Roster and add your listing.
Providing editing services has been a mainstay of my business, Maine Desk LLC, since I founded it in 2001. Finding clients has always been word of mouth–I have long thought that a listing of editors would be a very helpful resource. Finally, my idea has become a reality and I am excited to share this resource.
If you are an editor and would like to be listed–great! Start in the Writer’s Camp Store and purchase a one-year listing for $50. From there, you will receive an email with a link to create your listing. Fill in the details, add a picture, review and submit–you will be good to go. Once I review the listing, it will be live on the site. You will receive a second email with a link to update/change your listing, which can be done at any time, as many times as you want. In 11 months you will receive a note inviting you to renew your listing for another year. And that’s it! I hope lots of business comes your way.
Campers–whether you are a learner, author, or someone else–browse the listings and reach out to editors by their preferred contact method. As I type this, the list is small but I anticipate growth as the word gets out. Already the listings reflect editors with varied expertise and interests. Whether your project is large or small, short- or long-term, I am sure there will be someone who can help you.
