Have you ever wondered what happens precisely in the Editorial Office when you press SUBMIT on the electronic manuscript management system and send your manuscript to a journal? Here’s your chance to find out. Join us for a fun and informative session that will answer questions such as:
- What happens when your manuscript arrives in the office?
- Who does the initial review?
- What is a technical check?
- What is a desk reject?
- How are peer reviewers selected?
- What should you expect in terms of a timeline?
- Is it okay to communicate with the Editorial Office and if so, what’s the best way to do so?
And more! The session will be facilitated by three highly qualified and experienced editors who have seen it all–and then some! Come prepared with lots of questions and be ready for a lively discussion on the mysterious world that exists behind the curtain of the Editorial Office.
Use the form below to register. There is no fee for the CAMPOREE but we do have a tip jar and donations are gratefully accepted. The session will be recorded and made available at a later date here at Writer’s Camp.
